Jackson Hole Activities:

Float trips:

Float the Snake River on a Scenic Float trip. Meander down the river, relaxing and looking for wildlife. Get your camera ready for the many photo opportunities around every bend in the river.

If you enjoy the thrill of adventure choose a White Water Float trip. Your heart will be pounding as you ride the rapids.

Rodeo:

Be sure to go to the Jackson Hole Rodeo every Wednesday and Saturday night. (Check the schedule for Friday night performances)

Rodeo is a part of our western heritage. Watch the Cowboys and Cowgirls compete in bull riding, saddle bronc riding, bareback riding team roping, barrel racing and even a calf scramble all the kids can participate in. Check out some great western fun.

Chuckwagon Supper and Western Shows:

Fun, laughter and great entertainment for the whole family. Eat supper like you would have eaten on a cattle drive. After dinner the wranglers will treat you to great western singing with a few jokes and stories!

Tram rides:

Head on over to Teton Village and take a ride to the top of Rendezvous Mountain. This is a true high altitude adventure. Breath-taking views at an elevation of about 10,450 feet. Lots of hiking trails await you or take the tram back to the valley floor.

Horseback trail rides:

Become a cowboy for a day. Ride a horse and explore some of the back country. Go for a couple of hours or go for a day. Let your guide show you the ins and outs of riding a horse.

Nightly Shoot Out on the Town Square:

Excitement for all young and old alike. Watch the cowboys get the outlaws as they try to rob the stagecoach.

Stage Coach rides:

Ride in an authentic stagecoach, pulled by a team of horses around the city of Jackson.

Western Theater:

Enjoy nightly entertainment in an historic building of years gone by. A great melodrama with outstanding actors will be a highlight of your trip.

National Museum of Wildlife Art:

This is a one of a kind collection of wildlife art under one roof. Nationally renowned artist are featured.

History Museum:

Jackson history collected to give you a glimpse of our true western heritage. Enjoy the local artifacts gathered together to tell the stories of Jackson’s first settlers.

Fishing:

Enjoy fishing on the Snake River, Hoback River and Flat Creek, (to name a few). Enjoy the scenery as you fish on famous rivers. Guided trips are available too.

Antler Arches on the Town Square:

Antler Arches are on all four corners of the square. Take your picture under the arches. These arches are made with real elk antlers.

While you are downtown enjoy walking around on the board walks.Downtown you will find great shopping and fine dining.
